Slab Leak Repair Near Me

Slab leak calls come to us from more than 30 communities across Greater Los Angeles and Ventura County. Find your city on our areas we serve list.

First, we find it. The plumber uses electronic listening equipment to pick up the sound of water escaping under the slab. That narrows the leak to a small area.

Then, you choose. You get the repair options and the prices in writing. Nothing is cut or opened until you approve.

Finally, we fix it. The plumber completes the spot repair or reroute and checks that the leak has stopped. Think you have a slab leak? Call +1 818-960-6759 or send us a message.

    Found First, Then Fixed

Electronic listening equipment narrows the search before anyone breaks concrete. That keeps the opening small and the cost down.

    Two Ways to Fix It

Spot repair or reroute. The plumber explains both options and which one fits your home, so you're not guessing.

    Your Floor Can Stay Put

A reroute runs a new line through the walls or attic instead. In many homes, the slab never has to be opened at all.

    Price Set Before Concrete Moves

You get the full price in writing before any flooring is lifted or concrete is cut.

    Signs of a Slab Leak

    • A warm or damp spot on the floor with no clear source
    • A water bill that spikes while your usage stays the same
    • Running water sounds when every fixture is off
    • Low water pressure all over the house
    • New cracks in flooring or walls near the slab
    • A musty smell or mold with no visible water

Seeing one of these doesn't prove it's a slab leak. Our leak detection service confirms where the water is going before you pay for any repair.

    What Causes a Slab Leak

Most slab leaks start in copper water lines that corrode slowly over 30 to 50 years. The soil around the pipe plays a part in how fast that happens. Shifting soil, flaws from when the house was built, and pipes rubbing against gravel or rebar inside the slab can also wear a hole through the line.

Spot Repair or Reroute: Choosing Your Slab Leak Repair

Spot repair. The plumber opens a small section of concrete right above the leak, repairs the pipe and closes it back up. It's the least invasive choice when the leak is in one clear spot and the rest of the pipe is in good shape.

Reroute. A new water line is run through the walls, ceiling or attic, and the leaking line under the slab is shut off. It's often the better choice in older homes, where more than one section of pipe may be close to failing.

When the pipe keeps leaking in new places, patching one spot at a time stops making sense. At that point, a full pipe replacement may cost less over the life of the home.

    What It Costs

    • Leak detection: $150 to $400
    • Spot repair: $500 to $2,500, depending on slab depth and access
    • Reroute: $2,000 to $6,000 or more, depending on home size and pipe length

All costs are confirmed in writing before any concrete is opened.

What to Do Before the Plumber Arrives

    1. If you hear running water or see water coming up through the floor, shut off the main water valve.
    2. Take a photo of your water meter reading. It helps show how much water is being lost.
    3. Move rugs and furniture away from any wet or warm spot.
    4. Call us to book the visit.

If water is actively flooding a room, treat it as an emergency. Our emergency plumbing service handles burst pipes and active leaks.
